Since, the technology is increasing day by day, and the life is getting faster and faster with every second, the role of literature becomes very crucial. Ek Din is a post modern Punjabi short story written by Tripta K Singh which revolves around the relationship of husband and wife in modern society.

The unusual desire of the wife that she seeks on the birthday creates disillusionment in the mind of the husband which makes him ponder for the whole day.

His actions and reactions throughout the day are the sheer example of the decaying bond of love and affection which otherwise is considered pious and blissful.

The cover art of this audiobook has been made by Artist Gurdish Pannu and Dr. Ruminder has given voice to this punjabi short story.
