Mayfair Watchers Society

Sometime, somehow, in a place that defies the word ‘somewhere…’ Remmy Higgins—that woe-be-gone art-school-dropout—got himself lost. Hunted by apparitions of his troubled past and the insect god who feeds on them, Remmy just wants to make it through this liminal hell. But how do you go forward in this place where stopped clocks are always right? Remmy must either find an answer to this question…or spend an eternity, lost and wandering through “the Backrooms.” The Backrooms: Silverfish - Patreon TRANSCRIPTS & CONTENT WARNINGS: Full transcripts are connected to each episode via Simplecast. As our viewers can see, what exactly is going on in the town of Mayfair is the subject of spirited debate.

It's not just this one pack. It's maybe not even just the canids. I checked the sightings over the the last week, and three separate people have reported seeing a group of creatures on the move in a place they wouldn't normally be. There might be something going on here.

You told me that next time I was having trouble getting to bed, I should sit down and record my thoughts or talk about what was keeping me up. You've been a good therapist, so I'm hoping you're right about this...

Today we'd like to share a show we think you'll love: Midnight Burger.

Good afternoon, I'm Melissa Hanover with HFN News. It's been nearly three weeks since the social video sensation RabbitHole first swept through the town of Mayfair.

Okay, take... four, I guess. This is the history of Mayfair as we know it, according to the people who live here.

I just want to know what happened. Mom never talks about him. I didn't even know he was there until Mr. Peters told me.

That's certified Mayfair Monster behavior. Welcome to town.

Anyway, it's recording, so: this is Andy Wheathers, employee ID 957793, with Louis Croce, employee ID... uh... Louis?

We need help. Out here. On the road just west of Mayfair. If you liked this episode, make sure to catch Passenger: Only in theaters May 22nd.

The fetid king is coming soon.

It had a face, but the face was just like that: the eyes were these big circles with dots in the middle, and it had this big wide grin, full of teeth- but not real teeth, just the pattern of them.

These are real people, Robert. People with homes and families. We can't just drive them out because we haven't extracted every last dollar of value from Mayfair!

Alright, so right now it's just hooked up to this tablet. You can set it to view all 4 cameras simultaneously, but it'll have no sound. Or you can swap between cameras and get the audio.

Some of you have probably guessed what I'm up to at this point. I'm exploring beyond the guts of the Ferris wheel and searching for... things that might be lurking beneath the surface.

Jergen Kurtwood at your service! I will be your guide into the famed Hayward Textile Mill!

I've decided to start vlogging my healthcare journey. Recently, over Spring Break, I got sick. Not sure exactly how, but it's been about two weeks now and I'm not getting better.

This is Harry Allen behind the camera, with my dad - Harold Allen - and my daughter - Megan Allen - on a beautiful summer day.

It's Jerry's job to fix it. It's in the lease. The weird creepy sounds it's been making were one thing. This seems actively hazardous.

You know the last time a fox showed up on stream, I got a few hundred dollars in donations? That's like, a third of my rent right there. All for a few seconds of a fox on screen! We'd be stupid to let that kind of easy money go.

I heard a lot about this town. Ilona at the office said Mayfair makes up maybe one in ten of our call-outs. Just this one place. There are guys pretty much permanently stationed in town- guess it's their day off.

There's some kind of... creature here. Are you familiar with the story of the Logger's Friend?

You'll see once we're there, Daniel. If we find it, the Red Chapel is going to be the centerpiece of the whole show.

Oh, Malik. You're going to want to buckle in, there is so much more to worry about here.
