Episode's summary
Disney Night is usually one of the best nights on Dancing With the Stars, but not everyone was living their Disney dream this week. Some contestants delivered their strongest performances yet, while others left Christi and Kelly wondering what happened. And with the competition getting tougher, a few fan favorites might be in serious trouble. This week on Back To The Barre, Christi and Kelly break down the best and worst of DWTS Disney Night, from a High School Musical group dance they absolutely LOVED to a Tinker Bell performance that left them disappointed. They also have plenty to say about which contestants are genuinely improving, who might have an unfair advantage, and whether the judges are giving the dancers the right kind of feedback. Plus, Julia's elimination has them questioning who's next, and Maura's reaction to surviving the vote raises some eyebrows. Was she actually relieved to be staying, or is the grueling competition starting to take its toll? Christi and Kelly share their predictions for…

Holly FINALLY Snaps At Abby… And Nia Pays The Price
ListenedWelcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they’re revisiting Season 2, Episode 10, “Miami Heat Wave,” where Holly FINALLY reaches her breaking point with Abby. What starts with Holly simply asking why Nia keeps getting overlooked turns into one of their ugliest fights yet. Abby tells Holly this is “her domain,” throws her out of the studio, and Christi and Kelly reveal the argument went on much longer — and got much worse — than what viewers actually saw. Nia eventually comes back, but the pressure of the week follows her all the way to Miami. When she freezes during her solo and runs offstage crying, she gets a second chance Christi and Kelly say almost never happens at a dance competition — giving Nia one opportunity to turn the entire week around. We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited specifically for YouTube! GET…
Jill LOSES IT When Ashlee Says Brynn Is Better Than Kendall | Back To The Barre
ListenedJill is finally getting a taste of what the other Dance Moms dealt with for YEARS. With Maddie away and Abby treating Brynn like her next big star, Ashlee isn't shy about saying Brynn is a better dancer than Kendall. She even pulls up YouTube comments to prove her point. Jill's response? A full-blown fight that quickly gets a whole lot more personal than either girl's dancing. This week on Back To The Barre, Christi and Kelly revisit Season 6, Episode 6, “Abby's New Favorites,” and have plenty to say about Jill and Ashlee's increasingly vicious feud. Jill insists nobody should be criticizing another person's child, which is a pretty bold position considering some of the things she's said over the years. Meanwhile, Abby returns after abandoning the team, only to make an offensive comment about Nia that sends Holly over the edge. A brand-new mini mom discovers that refusing to fight might actually make her the most unpopular person in the room, and Abby's new recruits finally get their chance to prove they're…
Are DWTS Producers MANIPULATING The Judges?!? | Back To The Barre
ListenedSomething feels a little suspicious on Dancing With the Stars this week. After Val Chmerkovskiy's controversial suspension, guest judge Shirley Ballas suddenly starts handing out some of the harshest scores of the season, while Carrie Ann Inaba seems determined to make nice. Coincidence? Christi and Kelly aren't so sure. This week on Back to the Barre, Christi and Kelly break down DWTS Halloween Night and question whether producers are pulling strings behind the judges' table. From Shirley's brutal criticism of Julia Stiles to Carrie Ann's sudden change in attitude toward Val, they wonder if the network is trying to put last week's drama to bed. And having experienced their fair share of producer manipulation on Dance Moms, they know how quickly things can be orchestrated behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Halloween Night brings some of the season's best performances and a few major disappointments. Christi and Kelly have plenty to say about the elaborate costumes, surprising scores, and contestants who aren't…
Nia’s Biggest Moment Gets RUINED By Jill And The Candy Apples | Back To The Barre Rewind
ListenedWelcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they’re revisiting Season 2, Episode 8, “The Runaway Mom,” where Nia finally gets the week she’s been waiting for. She lands at the top of the pyramid, gets a solo, and actually gets the chance to feel like the featured dancer for once. Then Jill walks out on Abby and shows up with Kendall at Candy Apples — and suddenly Nia’s big moment becomes part of an entirely different fight. Kendall is put directly against her, the competition gets personal fast, and Holly is left feeling like Nia got dragged into a game that had nothing to do with her. Christi and Kelly look back on Jill’s dramatic exit, the shock of seeing Kendall with Cathy, and why what should have been one of Nia’s happiest weeks ended up becoming one of the most frustrating. We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited…
